At the urging of family, friends, and colleagues, Judy Cordell Events was created by Judy Cordell in 2007. With more than twenty years of professional event-planning experience, Judy’s ingenuity for creating each client a one-of-a kind occasion and her passion for surpassing expectations leave a signature mark on every Judy Cordell event. From dream weddings to intimate social affairs or corporate functions, Judy and her team of caring, committed professionals provide a customized approach for every client. They love what they do and are truly honored and excited to help someone’s dreams become reality. Judy’s tagline says it all: We bring the WOW! You take the bow.℠
With the diversity of a bachelor’s degree in home economics from the University of North Texas and a master’s degree in education from Texas A & M Commerce, Judy’s beginnings were all about events. From food fairs to fashion shows, Judy was the ‘go-to’ person to make it happen. Judy’s twelve-year tenure as the Plano ISD Career Education Coordinator and her service as the project manager for the Taste of Plano and other related events, provided an opportunity to fuel her passion and build lasting relationships with an incredible network of business leaders and event professionals. She has shared her expertise and talent to orchestrate everything from festive ranch weddings and black-tie galas to record-setting fund-raisers and elaborate receptions.
When Judy’s not amidst the fast-paced world of event-planning, she can be found enjoying time with her husband, Ron, daughter, Heather, family and friends. She’s on a mission to try unique new restaurants, explore her native Lone Star State, take advantage of a mountain adventure and be inspired for event décor ideas along every journey. Active in the Society of Wedding Professionals, Wedding Vendors Association – North Dallas and the Plano Chamber of Commerce, Judy remains committed to professional growth and community service. As a breast cancer survivor, she strives to raise funds and cancer awareness through leadership and participation in a variety of community events. Judy praises God for her healing and many blessings.
